Sunita Torrance is a Taranaki-born entertainment and events professional with over 20 years experience in events, entertainment, hospitality and a dash of medical in there.

Flash Mob Entertainment was dreamed up by her in early 2013 and started as a humble photo booth for hire business which then grew and morphed into everything you see now and still more to come!

Her passion for the LGBT+ community as seen her focus on events and education to support her rainbow friends and led to becoming a finalist in the NZ LGBT Awards in 2019 for Rainbow Storytime NZ a project where drag queens read stories about acceptance, anti-bullying, diversity and confidence for children.

Sunita recently won a medal from the New Zealander of the Year Awards 2021 as a Kiwibank Local Hero for her advocacy and allyship for the LGBT+ community.

You won't see Sunita much without her right-hand Dan, Daniel Lockett, who helps to manage events, run booths, host and perform in shows and is the other half of the drag queen duo with Sunita, Erika & CoCo Flash.

Sunita has had a very successful run of shows she has produced bringing in international  performers and headliners, scouting talent from all over NZ and recruiting cast from New Plymouth to bring the most stunning and immersive experiences to her audiences.
